The poles have been overdue for a reversal for something like 200,000 years. The Earths core has recorded the changes over billions of years because ferrous metals align themsleves with the poles as they were at the time, this gives us a record of past events.

Seems we need to make ready for a repeat of the Carrington Event since our protective shield is fading away. We should be hardening our vital electronics against a possible EMP anyway. Perhaps it may be possible to establish a base at L1 with a manmade magnetic dipole field to shunt away the worst of an incoming CME or solar flare. We need this kind of technology anyway to shield manned deep space vessels from cosmic radiation.
In my honest and somewhat naïve opinion. The events of volcanism throughout our precious Earth are in fact just part and parcel of pole flipping in motion. Thank you for the Great video.👍
